ITRACIP 200 Tablet contains Itraconazole 200 mg, an antifungal medication used to treat a variety of fungal infections. It works by inhibiting the growth of fungi by interfering with their cell membrane formation.

Uses:

ITRACIP 200 is commonly prescribed to treat:

• Fungal infections of the skin, nails, and mouth (like onychomycosis, oral thrush, and dermatophytosis)

• Systemic fungal infections such as histoplasmosis, blastomycosis, and aspergillosis

• Vaginal yeast infections

• Fungal infections of the lungs and other organs in immunocompromised patients

The dosage and duration of treatment depend on the type and severity of infection. It is usually taken after a full meal for better absorption.

Common side effects may include:

Serious side effects (though rare) include:

• Liver problems (yellowing of skin/eyes, dark urine)
