Uses of Lezoyes-5 Tablet

Lezoyes-5 Tablet contains Levocetirizine 5 mg, an antihistamine medicine. It is mainly prescribed for the treatment of:

• Allergic rhinitis (sneezing, runny or blocked nose, nasal itching, watery eyes).

• Chronic urticaria (hives) – reduces itching, redness, and swelling of the skin.

• Seasonal allergies – like pollen or dust allergy.

• Perennial allergies – such as pet dander, mold, or mite allergy.

• Other allergic conditions causing itching and swelling.

It works by blocking histamine, a chemical responsible for allergy symptoms.

Side Effects of Lezoyes-5 Tablet

While generally well tolerated, some people may experience:

• Common side effects:

  • Drowsiness or sleepiness

  • Dry mouth

  • Headache

  • Fatigue

  • Sore throat

• Less common side effects:

  • Dizziness

  • Abdominal pain or nausea

  • Increased heart rate

  • Allergic skin reactions (rare)

• Serious but rare side effects (seek medical help if they occur):

  • Difficulty in breathing
