Uses of Minolast-FX Tablet
Minolast-FX Tablet is a combination medicine that generally contains Montelukast (a leukotriene receptor antagonist) and Fexofenadine (a non-sedating antihistamine). It is used to manage and prevent symptoms of allergic rhinitis such as sneezing, runny or blocked nose, nasal congestion, watery eyes, and throat irritation. It is also prescribed for seasonal allergies, year-round allergies, and chronic urticaria (hives) to reduce itching, redness, and swelling. Montelukast helps by blocking leukotrienes that cause airway inflammation, while Fexofenadine blocks histamine, providing dual relief from allergic symptoms.

Side Effects of Minolast-FX Tablet
When taken as directed, side effects are usually mild. Common side effects include headache, dizziness, dry mouth, nausea, stomach discomfort, fatigue, and drowsiness (though Fexofenadine is mostly non-sedating). Some individuals may experience flu-like symptoms, diarrhea, or skin rash. Rarely, mood changes, palpitations, or allergic reactions such as swelling of the face, lips, or throat may occur. In very rare cases, Montelukast has been associated with changes in mood or behavior, including agitation or depression; any such symptoms should be reported to a doctor immediately.
