Description

NICIP 100mg Tablet contains Nimesulide, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain and inflammation. It is commonly prescribed for short-term treatment of acute pain, including muscular pain, joint pain, dental pain, backache, headache, and pain associated with conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and dysmenorrhea (menstrual cramps). NICIP helps reduce swelling, redness, and fever by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) in the body.

Uses:

• Joint pain and swelling in arthritis

• Muscle pain or sprain

• Menstrual pain

• Fever associated with pain

• Dental pain

• Headache or post-operative pain

Side Effects (mostly mild and temporary):

• Nausea, vomiting, or upset stomach

• Diarrhea or constipation

• Dizziness or drowsiness

• Skin rash or itching

• Heartburn or acidity

• In rare cases, liver toxicity or allergic reactions

It is advised to take NICIP only under medical supervision, preferably after food to avoid stomach upset. Long-term use or overdose should be avoided due to the risk of liver damage. It is not recommended for children below 12 years, pregnant or breastfeeding women, or individuals with liver, kidney, or heart problems unless prescribed by a doctor.
