Description

Pregabanyk Plus Capsule is a combination medicine commonly used for the management of neuropathic pain (nerve-related pain) and associated conditions. It contains Pregabalin, which stabilizes overactive nerve signals, and Methylcobalamin (Vitamin B12), which helps in nerve repair and regeneration. In some formulations, it may also include Alpha-lipoic acid or Folic acid for added nerve protection.

Uses:

• Treatment of neuropathic pain caused by diabetes (diabetic neuropathy), spinal cord injury, or shingles (post-herpetic neuralgia)

• Management of peripheral neuropathy and nerve damage-related pain

• Support in treating sciatica, fibromyalgia, and chronic back pain linked to nerve dysfunction

• Helps improve nerve regeneration and reduces numbness, tingling, or burning sensations

• May also be prescribed in certain neurological disorders to enhance nerve health and reduce discomfort

Side Effects:
Pregabanyk Plus is generally effective but can cause some side effects:

• Common: Dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue, headache, blurred vision, weight gain

• Occasional: Nausea, constipation, dry mouth, swelling of hands/feet

• Rare but serious: Mood changes, confusion, difficulty in breathing, severe allergic reaction, muscle weakness

Precautions:
Avoid driving or operating machinery as it may cause sleepiness or dizziness. Take only under medical supervision, especially in patients with kidney problems or history of alcohol dependence. Do not stop suddenly without consulting the doctor.
