Description
Vertiford 8 Tablet contains Betahistine Hydrochloride 8 mg, a histamine analogue used to improve blood flow in the inner ear and reduce symptoms related to balance disorders. It works by enhancing microcirculation in the inner ear and reducing excess fluid build-up, which helps relieve vertigo and related problems.
Uses:
Treatment of Meniereβs disease, characterized by vertigo, tinnitus (ringing in ears), hearing loss, and nausea
Management of balance disorders caused by inner ear problems
Reduction in the frequency and severity of vertigo attacks
Relief from dizziness and associated nausea or vomiting due to vestibular disorders
Side Effects:
Vertiford 8 is generally well tolerated but may cause:
Common: Headache, mild stomach upset, bloating, nausea
Occasional: Indigestion, abdominal discomfort, mild allergic skin reactions (rash, itching)
Rare but serious: Severe allergic reactions like swelling of face/lips, breathing difficulty (requires urgent medical attention)
