VOMETIL MD Tablet by Cipla contains Ondansetron, a medication used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting caused by conditions like chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgery, or gastrointestinal infections. The “MD” stands for mouth dissolving, meaning the tablet quickly dissolves on the tongue without needing water, making it ideal for patients who are actively vomiting or unable to swallow pills.

Uses:

• Prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting from:

  • Chemotherapy or radiotherapy

  • Post-operative recovery

  • Stomach infections (gastroenteritis)

  • Pregnancy-related nausea (as prescribed)

• Sometimes used in motion sickness, though not the first choice

Side Effects:
